White Creek Lumber and Hardware originated in the muddy winter of 1987-88 opening in May of 1988.  It was the vision of Adrian Vander Stoep who founded a store in what is now Plainfield Township in 1947.

New ownership began in 2005.  Changes did occur; and most of the full time people remained, having been with the company since 1988 or shortly thereafter. It’s their knowledge and commitment to serving the community with quality products, knowledgeable service and integrity in all aspects of the business, which is at the heart of the business.
