White Creek Lumber and Hardware originated in the muddy winter of 1987-88 and opened in May of 1988. The new business was the vision of Adrian Vander Stoep, who had originally founded the store in the area now called Plainfield Township in 1947.
In 2005, White Creek Lumber and Hardware came under new ownership. Although changes were made, most of the full-time staff remained with the company. Many of them had worked for White Creek Lumber since 1988 or shortly thereafter, and those years of experience have been essential to maintaining excellent service. Our staff's knowledge, integrity, and commitment to providing our community with quality products are the heart of the business.
We treat our suppliers, staff, and customers with respect, and view them as friends and members of our extended family. White Creek Lumber and Hardware strives to offer high-quality products at a fair price, the best advice, planning, and referral services, and impeccable customer service.
Stop in today for supplies and help with your project, and find out what a difference a knowledgeable staff with a real commitment to service makes!
White Creek Lumber and Hardware takes pride in not only servicing the local community by providing excellent products and services, but also in supporting and growing our community in other ways. White Creek Lumber and Hardware has been significantly involved with various civic events, some of which include, or have included, Rotary Club, the public schools, Red Flannel Days, and the Chamber of Commerce.
Throughout the years, White Creek Lumber and Hardware has given invaluable donations of materials and expertise (as well as monetary contributions) to area schools, parades, community organizations like Boy Scouts and Future Farmers of America, and other various events and causes too numerous to list.
We pride ourselves on our contributions to our community and are committed to making Cedar Springs a better place for years to come! Most recently, White Creek Lumber and Hardware was proud to support the efforts of exceptional young people in our area by donating materials to Eagle Scout service projects. Congratulations on successfully building a great boardwalk, Josh!
